The window sill has an air-to-air counter-current heat exchanger. The heat exchanger surface is determined by the width of the windows and the depth of the frame. Exhaust gas sucks air off over a slot over the whole window board width, directly in front of the sill. Influxes of the supply air is provided into the area over a slot over the whole width of the window board and in front and down into the projection of the wall.
