The hydraulic valve assembly has a high pressure connection, a low pressure connection, a load sensing connection, and a pressure diversion valve between the HP connection and LP connection. The pressure diversion valve is constructed as a hydraulically piloted valve with a control inlet (13) connected to a pilot valve (17) controlled by pressure at the load sensing connection (LS). The pilot valve has a delay device which effects a time delay with the opening of the pilot valve.
