Automatic processing method for patient prescriptions in which a prescription is read automatically by a reader, processed by a computer and then output from a prescription issuing point

Method for providing a patient with a prescription only medicament (7), whereby the patient inputs his prescription (11) in a prescription service station (1). The prescription is then automatically read by a reader (2) and a coupled computer (3) processes the data and transfers it to a medicament output point (6). Here the medicament is allocated to the prescription and the medicaments are supplied to the patient. Independent claims are also included for the following:- (A) a prescripton service station and; (B) a computer program for evaluating prescription data.
