The method involves detecting force exerted by wind on a vehicle using pressure sensors that are arranged in a window of the vehicle. The vehicle is moved at a speed below a given limit value for the vehicle speed, when the force exerted by the wind on the vehicle exceeds a given threshold value for the force. The vehicle is slowed down when the actual vehicle speed is greater than the limit value. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle with pressure sensors.
