The lower part of the sole is flat. The upper part (F) is shaped to fit user's foot. It has a raised portion under the heel and a raised portion under the instep. There is a low portion at the front under the ball of the foot and the toes. The sole is broader at the front than at the rear, and the ends are rounded. A retaining strap (R) at the front forms a V-shape in plan view.
