Air duct for use in the interior of a vehicle comprises a cylindrical tube (12.1) with air outlets (16) in its top. A guide plate (18) whose cross-section forms part of a circle, oval or ellipse is mounted on hinges (24, 32) above the outlets and directs air tangentially to the duct surface, producing a Coanda effect.
