A safety device for vehicles equipped with ABS-system and cruise control device has a control device (1) connected on one side with at least one actuation device (3) and on the other, with the cruise control (4), and the control device (1) is additionally coupled via a selection/priority circuit (7) for releasing the braking until the vehicle comes to a halt, with the ABS (8) and/or retarder (8) and additionally to the cruise control (5), and is joined to the EU-control device (6) to make the time signals available for the control device.
