The derrick crane has a main jib (10) and a derricking jib (20) which are interconnected by a bracing cable (30) for the bracing of the main jib, and an auxiliary top (40) with a bracing cable (50). The bracing cable of the auxiliary top acts on one side on the auxiliary top and on the other side acts on the bracing cable of the main jib. An additional bracing (60) is provided between the bracing cable of the main jib and the main jib itself. The bracing cable of the auxiliary top acts upon the point of the main jib's bracing cable upon which acts or branches the additional bracing.
