A method for regulating two control variables, in which for each control variable a separate control circuit is provided and both regulating circuits are set up so that both regulating circuits act with a manipulated variable on an actuator and its response characteristic with regard to the frequency is different, in which an evaluation of the manipulated variable of a regulating/control circuit results through at least one observer/visualization. An independent claim is included for a device for regulating two control variables.
