Each printed sheet (2) moves forward (9) onto adjustable sets of rollers (26,27) on support beams (16,17) under the sides (30) of the sheet. Typically the angle (alpha) between the inward- extending roller axes (31) and the direction of motion is less than 90 degrees. The outward inclination of the guide rollers applies a sideways stretching force to the printed sheet.
