The bottle case of plastic has a large area opening in at least two oppositely lying side walls. At the top the opening is bounded by a gripping strip (1), at the bottom by a base strip (4), and at the sides by corner pillars (2). The inner walls are connected to the base strips, whereby the inner walls (6) merge in one piece into the base strips. The base strip in the middle has an upwards orientated protrusion (5) to which the inner wall is connected.
