Damped ball joint for motor vehicle's track rods and suchlike has elastomer component with stop section which in unloaded state of ball joint does not lie simultaneously on outer wall of shell bush and inner wall of outer bush
The damped ball joint has a shell bush (30) in which is installed a ball shell (14) with a ball pin (16). An outer bush (32) is installed concentrically outside the shell bush (30), and an elastomer component (34) is provided between the shell bush and outer bush. The elastomer component has a stop section (38) which in the unloaded state of the ball joint does not lie simultaneously on the outer wall of the shell bush and inner wall of the outer bush, whereby the stop section lies against the outer wall of the shell bush and is spaced away from the inner wall of the outer bush.
