The arrangement has a supporting joint with a support shell (3) insertable into a retention hole (2) from a side of a retaining section (1) of a pivot bearing or a wheel carrier. The support shell is securable from another side of the retaining section over a nut (4) that is supported on the retaining section. The nut is screwed on a thread section (3a) of the support shell that is supported by an outer wall section (3b) in the form of a convex ball layer at the retaining section in the retention hole according to the form of a concave ball layer section (2a).
