The fuel feed system (100) has a fuel pump (1) to draw fuel from a fuel tank (6) and to deliver fuel through an outlet pipe (2a). The pump has a pump section, a motor section for rotation of a rotor housed inside the pump section, and a cover section to accommodate an outlet filter for the filtering of fuel directed through the motor section. A vessel is provided for the collecting of impurities in the fuel which are trapped by the outlet filter, whereby the vessel is installed close to the outlet filter.
