The double-walled heat exchanger has the distribution of the heat transfer medium from the inlet (1) effected through the upper distribution zone into the 21.3 mm diameter inner lying feed pipes (9) which are centered in tubes (10) by weld points (11) located around the circumference. A direction reversal takes place in the bumped end (12) welded to the 31.7 mm diameter outer tube so that medium, in the opposite direction, reaches the lower heat exchanger zone through the space between the inner pipe and outer tube and leaves the heat exchanger through a socket connector (5).
