The sandwich board consists of a middle layer (5) of a core material, of one or more wooden layers coated with a metal layer or other hard board material (3)stuck together with phenolic adhesive film (4). A further layer of adhesive film (2) can be laid on one or both sides. Alternatively, a further layer of wood consisting of one or more glued wooden layers (1) can be laid. This results in a sandwich board of 8mm to 40 mm in thickness.
