The tweezers, to grasp and hold small objects, has two arms (10,11) bonded together at one end and with grip pads at the inner sides of their free ends. The grip (14) is a recessed projection, surrounded by a ring edge, at the outer sides of the arms. The projecting grip is of a different material, which is non-conductive and/or non-magnetic, and preferably of plastics. The arms have a metal or ceramic coating at their tips.
