The heat exchanger is designed so that in the outer boiler cavity (19.1) a direct transfer of heat takes place via a medium, which is preferably condensing refrigerant vapour in the cavity of the double pipe coil (17), to a throughflowing medium, which is preferably fresh water in the annular cavity of the double pipe coil, and heating of the heat transfer medium in the inner boiler cavity (18.1) via a medium which is preferably condensing refrigerant vapour in the cavity of the single pipe coil (16).
