Heat recovery system for heated buildings - has first exchanger as concreted pipe coils and second as double glazed and filtered cavity to preheat air

The heat recovery plant is for heated buildings and has pumps delivering heat to the heating system (6,7) and the service water heating boiler (8). A heat exchanger (4) associated with the pump evaporator (2) consists of pipe coils in concrete carrying a circulating coolant and mounted in or on parts of the outside of the building. The exchanger absorbs heat flowing outwards from the heated rooms inside the building and returns this to the evaporator. An additional exchanger is designed as a window formed from a sealed inside laminated glass pane and a single glass pane spaced from this on the outside. It incorporates filter which receives the cold air drawn in from outside so that heat can be removed from the cavity between the panes acting as heat exchanger.
