The umbrella has a frame (3) with five serially connected supports (31-35), in which both ends and a middle portion of the first support exhibit a flat structure. Side supports (321, 331) are provided with an inside hook for linking the outer flat portion of the support (31) and the support (32). The support (33) at the outer end has two parallel plates configured to enclose an inner end of the support (34) when the umbrella is closed.
