Coupling rods lie parallel, with mutual clearance. The conveyor unit is arranged immediately in front of the tunnel end. It is inside the tunnel, in the end region allocated to the drive unit. It is in a channel depression, orientated transversely with respect to the length of the tunnel (1). The conveyor is constructed as a trough- or belt conveyor. A loosening- or compost-turning roller (11, 12) can be brought into contact with the compost, swung into the front of the tunnel. It can be moved parallel to the length of the conveyor, on a trolley (70) to which it is attached. The coupling rods are connected by interlocking with the base plates or with the hydraulic piston of the drive unit. The loosening roller is in the drive unit.
