A motor lorry, fire engine or building site vehicle has an automatic gearbox and a hydraulically driven additional unit, or several units, such as generators, water pumps, compressed air compressors. Between the automatic gearbox (1) and the additional units (6) a hydraulic pump (3) is fitted. The gearbox is connected by a feed conduit (2) with the hydraulic pump. The feed conduit issues into the back flow (4) coming from a hydraulic motor (5). This motor drives the additional unit(s). For issue into the back flow the feed conduit incorporates a pressure limiting valve (7), which is connected with the hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor is also connected with the automatic gearbox via a back flow (9) and via a pressure conduit (10) with the hydraulic motor.
