A method for hanging roof tiles, and roof plates on a roof frame has the concrete, or concrete type, tiles cast with integral reinforcing and with threaded sleeves (14) embedded into the underside. The sleeves have collars (16) which are set flush with the underside of the tiles. Support fittings (18) with profiled heads (22) are threaded into the sleeves with the heads supporting the tiles on metal plates (26) fitted to the horizontal struts (12) of the roof frame. The threaded fittings provide adjustment to align the tiles onto the roof frame with the convex profile of the support head holding the tiles at selected angles.
