The feed and transport system has a feed conveyor (2), supporting a stack (1) of carton blanks, operated by an indexing drive (3) to allow individual blanks to be fed off from the bottom of the stack onto a transport conveyor. The indexing drive is provided by a Maltese cross drive, with the individual blanks fed from the bottom of the stack via feed rollers (4) or continuously rotating feed belts, providing alignment of the indivual blanks.
