Munition production facilities transporting high explosives from one station to another on conveyor lines require fire protection. Design criteria and procedures for a water deluge system with a capability of detecting and functioning effectively to extinguish a fire following a detonation from a 60-lb box of flake Composition B are outlined in this design package.
