A cabinet/housing (1) is divided into four zones flowed with a given quantity of air as required for damping equipment noise, and so as to retain the operating temperature. No additional impellers are needed since the device housing (2) is produced in combination with the boundary sealing (26) and with the help of the fans (3) to provide an air-pressure difference which gives rise to a steady-state air-stream which is conducted through the inlet aperture and then through further openings to the base plate (7).
