Formicarium for keeping ants, comprising of several transparent modules joined with tubes

Each of the modules, to be assembled in order to form a formicarium, is designed as a box-shaped container made of glass or another transparent material. One of the smaller panels is provided with an opening for a tube allowing the insects to move between the modules. A rectangular sheet of at least a fifth of the length of the container can be used as a platform for the ants and as a partition when the bottom of the container is to be cleaned.
