The equipment holder (11) for especially fire vehicles has a section (12) which has an opening (13) on one side enabling the equipment (14,20,21,22) to be stowed therein and removed therefrom. A holding device (16) for the equipment is installed on the holder section and the holder has a handling grip (25) for transporting purposes which is movable between a not-in-use position (26) and a functioning position in which it is extended from the holder section to the side. At least one wheel (32) is provided on the holder section for movement over the ground.
