The structure has a rotary knob with a receiving hole (54) and rotatable with respect to a retractable tube set to turn the hole towards a semiconductor retrenchment of the set. A spring unit (30) is provided between a lower hole of the positioning unit and the receiving hole for pressing the positioning unit to lock the knob on the set. A positioning unit (20) is moved axially in the hole to press together or loosen the spring unit. An independent claim is also included for a hedge scissors including a retractable tubular assembly.
