The cross-piece has a through-hole (2) to receive a part of an assembly unit. A section of the through-hole is relatively greater than a corresponding section of the assembly unit. A guiding unit (10) axially maintains the assembly unit within a through-hole, following a given position, and is partially inoperative to modify the position of the assembly unit within the through-hole. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
