A room divider system for a large office, e.g. an open plan office, has the divider panels fitted to the back edge of a table or desk (14). The divider comprises a support frame (20 to 24) to hold the panels (26) and with fittings to secure to the desk/table. The upper part of the divider extends above the level of the worktop of the desk/table and provides some privacy for the person sitting at the desk/table. The mounting can be adjustable along the back of the desk/table and several divider panels can be linked into a selected layout.
