The generator has a cigarette tube, in which a cigarette (1) is inserted that is perpendicular or inclined. An electrical heating unit (5) is built directly close to an end of the tube, and burns the inserted cigarettes slowly when their presence is sensed by an IR sensor (6). An ash tray is brought close to the unit. An air circulation system has a blower in a direction of travel which sucks the air in the direction of travel and directs it through the burning cigarette on to an opening.
