The staircase has steps (1) on which a dovetailing (4) is formed with risers (2, 3), such that the orientation of grains of a wood (5) in the steps is in a moving direction on the steps and a front edge (6) of the steps is made of a cross cut wood (9). The wood thickness of the steps ranges to 40 millimeter. The dovetailing is secured to the steps during the gluing by a rod that is made from high-grade steel.
