A versatile display system has three similar back projection display units (1) which can be arranged around a central seat (13) to form a wrap around display, e.g. for a flight simulator, or positioned in a line to form a wide angle, or multiple effect display. The three units are connected to a single computer with selected programmes. Additional features include folding light shades, loudspeakers, lights etc.
