The device has a stator (2), a take-off element (3) coaxial to it, and a separate housing (11), which partially surrounds stator and element. The housing projects into a peripheral radial profile of an outer jacket surface of the stator for a positive connection of the components in peripheral direction. The housing consists of at least two parts (16) and prevents leakage of pressure medium from the device. The stator is fabricated by a deep drawing process. At least one of the housing parts is manufactured by a similar process, and the two parts are connected by a weld seam. The device also has a sealing plate (12) of hardened steel.
