Removable end part made of relatively hard material such as steel is used as an accessory for supports, stand legs, and spikes, e.g. cello spikes. Independent claims are also included for: (1) Spike rods, stand legs, supports, etc. having a hollow end and an internal thread, cone, etc. for fixing to an inserted end part; and (2) Spike, e.g. for a cello, comprising the above rod and the above end part.
