The pressure unit comprises a plastic housing(1) into which at least one connector(4) is attached via a bore(3). One or more outer radial claws(6) on the connector engage with a circumferential groove(8) produced in the bore wall by forced deformation during injection molding of the housing to give a positive and flexible connection between housing and connector. Holding claws(6) are the outside of a housing(5) for the connector(4) and are preferably equally spaced. One or more of the claws are barbed to increase grip in the circumferential groove(8). The cross-section of the circumferential groove is matched to the cross-section of each claw so that the outer radial tip of a claw makes frictional contact with the groove base. The connector is a push-fit type for attaching a plastic pipe.
