A first-aid finger sleeve protects an injured finger from exposure to infection and is retained on the finger by a two-part loop from the sleeve root to the wrist. The two-part loop is secured by a hand-operated two-part fixture that is a hook and loop fastener tap. The two parts of the hook and loop fastener are on opposite parts of the two-part loop.
