Expression vector (A) for production of annexin V (I), is new. Expression vector (A) comprising: (a) at least the components of pBR322 or pKK223-3 that are required for replication; (b) an expression region comprising, in sequence in the reading direction, a promoter (P1), a repressor-specific binding site (X), a prokaryotic ribosome-binding site (RBS), cloning site for the gene for annexin V (I), and at least one transcriptional terminator; and (c) at least one kanamycin resistance gene controlled by promoter P2. An independent claim is also included for Escherichia colicells that contain (A). ACTIVITY : Anticoagulant. No biological data is given. MECHANISM OF ACTION : (I) binds to phosphatidylserine.
