The bicycle saddle consists of an upper section(1) and a fastening device (2), a longitudinal axis (3) and mirror-image symmetry plane. The upper section along the longitudinal axis consists of a saddle nose (5) , center saddle surface (6) and rear saddle surface (7). The center saddle surface has a recess (8) so that the saddle nose and rear surface are raised relative to the center surface, and at least by 2 centimeters. The recess is in cylinder section or torus section form with a radius of 47 centimetres, whereby the rotational axis of the cylinder is perpendicular to the symmetry axis.
