A simple stamping tool for cutting stencils etc. in paper strips has a support plate (2) fixed to the base of the tool and onto which is fastened a stencil sheet (3). A slider (7) moved manually and reciprocally over the paper and stencil carries a pressure roller to press the paper onto the stencil. The slider moves along side tracks (8) and is operated by a hand grip (7) at the top of the slider.
