The stand (1) has a mounting head (2) for fixing to a front fork (5) end of a cycle and a supporting foot (3) pivotably mounted on a mounting head, whereby the head contacts an inner side of the fork end facing the rear wall in the mounted condition with a screw-on flange (6) and is reversibly connected to the fork end by at least two screws (8).
