In a mask for the face or body, comprising a carrier sheet (CS) coated on one face with a permanent adhesive matrix (AM) (wh adheres to both dry and wet skin) and skin treatment active agent(s) (AA) contained in CS and/or AM, AM is stretchable (at least wet form) such that the mask can be adapted to the shape of the region to be treated. CS is also stretchable (at least in wet form) to correspond with the deformation of AM.
