Soluble dietary fiber preparation comprises a highly branched polysaccharide (I) with a molecular weight above 300,000 and a viscosity (30% aqueous solution, 20 deg C) of 100-1000 mPas. An Independent claim is also included for a nutritional composition comprising 0.5-100 wt.% of the dietary fiber preparation.
