A process for reducing the thermal dissipation in the case of a simple ring (10) comprises the fact of using a current regulator pulse width modulation (pwm) comprising a switch which is in the form of a field effect transistor (fet), and to use a time of release of the fet transistor to provide a wide range of operating current.
