The service water craft includes a floating structure (17) having two long parallel floats (22) spaced by a support structure (18) on which an agricultural tractor (13) is mounted to form a catamaran type craft. The rear wheels of the tractor are coupled to and drive a propulsion device (19) such as a water wheel that propels the craft, via a drive rollers/shafts (14-16). The rear wheels also drive maintenance equipment (50) such as spraying equipment (53).
