This method of connection of several layers of fabric along a line and in particular an edge of an article, is of the type in which it uses two wires of the seam knotted, respectively lower and upper, one of the wires with a change of state to a first predetermined temperature, and in that it provides means of heat sealing of the thicknesses acting to a second predetermined temperature; the wire to a change of state melts at a first temperature lower than said second temperature, and is removed, after fusion of the wire to a change of state, the other wire. This makes it possible to obtain an assembly without any seam well positioned.
