The hub cap comprises a body, several spaced supports (30) on an external edge of the body and a metallic ring (4) fixed on the supports which are provided with several lateral splines (31,32). These include an exterior and interior lateral spline enabling the engagement of the ring selectively so as to adjust the clamping of the hub cap body in the wheel rim.
