The wind generator has a casing (2) which is tapered as a pyramid and concentrates the wind towards a turbine (4). The turbine drives a generator (5) through a gearing (6) to produce electricity. A speed regulator (8) connected to a detector (7) controls a motor (11) to actuate valve orifices (9) and a shut down curtain (10). The assembly has a tail plane (1) and pivots about a bearing (3).
