The slab has rhomboidal units (5) placed between squared units (1), arranged at a plate periphery, by making projections with respect to the units (1). The projections are placed at the juxtaposition edges (6, 7) of the slab when two slabs are juxtaposed. The slab penetrates between the squared units (1) found at the juxtaposition edges (8, 9) of another slab. Peripheral gaps act as housing for the units (5). An independent claim is also included for a device of manufacturing a mosaic slab.
